Cake or Cat?

Having found an old unused cat shaped cake tin in the back of my cupboard I decided to use The Gidgster as my inspiration and whipped up this monster of a cake!

 Gidget posing next to the cake. I think the likeness was pretty good!

She doesn't seem that impressed though.

And just to make it that bit more life like, I made the cake from scratch with a Red Velvet recipe and cream cheese frosting and filling. The grey and tan bits were made by adding some coco powder and a little black. And when we cut into it....well you can see...

 

...it was a bit morbid, but still delicious! Gidget chose not to partake in any though.
